Question: Is Google Plus a networking site?

Google+ (pronounced Google plus) is a Google social networking platform. The Google+ design team sought to replicate the way people interact offline more closely than is the case in other social networking services, such as Facebook and Twitter. The projects slogan is “Real-life sharing rethought for the web.”

Is Google Plus a failure?

Google+, the search giants failed social network, will finally be laid to rest on Tuesday morning. Launched in 2011 and competing with Facebook and Twitter, it was Googles fourth attempt at a social network. But the platform failed to win people over, even after Google pushed it upon the thriving YouTube community.

Is there a replacement for Google+?

Google will be making Currents, its Google Plus replacement, generally available to G Suite users beginning July 6th, the company announced in an email to G Suite administrators on Friday. Google describes Currents as a tool that will allow companies to engage employees and have meaningful discussions.
